Open Acrylics

Well I guess this blog is still alive and well. heridanbrownart said... hey there! I haven't used the open acrylics very mush but I do have some. do you think they will glaze as nicely for miniatures as oils? what kind of glass mediums do you use? and also I'm not a robot-hope I'm approved by the blog author! Golden produces a number of OA mediums any of which could be used for glazing depending of the final result you want. APRIL 19, 2013 AT 10:42 AM

Open Acrylics

As you can see it has been awhile since I have posted. Well, I have been busy with a new medium called Golden Open Acrylics. I am particularly enjoying them for plein air painting. They dry slower that traditional acrylics. More like oil paints with easier clean-up, just water. I will have some new images for you to see soon. So keep posted:-;
Check out Mandy Marksteiner's blog. She is doing interviews of local artists.

While I am posting this it is 90 degrees outside. So little wonder that I enjoyed painting this.

I want to share my creative process with you. In most of my paintings I strive to create a peaceful place. I hope you will enjoy looking at my art work.
