The Red Barn

While I am posting this it is 90 degrees outside. So little wonder that I enjoyed painting this.

Oro Alamo

I enjoy experimenting. Adding metal leaf to this pastel painting turns into several paintings in one depending on the changing light or position of the viewer.

As Far as the Eye can See 24"x36" oil on gallery wrap canvas

I love vistas. They feel like there is an abundance of breathing space. The image for this painting was created in my head.

Jemez Snow 12"x24" Gallery Wrap Canvas

Winter in the southwest is like no other place in the country. Even though it is winter we have sunny days that are crisp and clear. The lower rays of the sun change the color of the snow.

Chamisa Steps oil 9"x12"

This painting was done en plein air. The Chamisa bloom in late summer/early fall.

Camp May Spring oil 8"x10"

This shade of green only occurs in the southern Rockies in the spring. It was a beautiful day to do a plein air painting.

I want to share my creative process with you. In most of my paintings I strive to create a peaceful place. I hope you will enjoy looking at my art work.
